Nicole’s story

I’m originally from Calgary, with a background in Environmental Science. I’ve always cared deeply about how our environments affect our well-being, both on a large scale and in the small, everyday spaces we live in.

I’m most passionate about helping animals, and I’ve worked at animal rescues in both Canada and Vietnam. Living and working in those environments exposed me to a lot of mess! Pet hair, dirt, and chaos were just part of daily life, and I learned firsthand how much maintaining a clean space can change how you feel.

Between my own busy life, dog hair everywhere, and a constant sense of overwhelm, my car was always a space I put off. When I would finally clean it properly, I was surprised by how much lighter and calmer I felt, and by how much I actually enjoyed the process!

That curiosity led me to train with a professional detailer, where I realized the need for more of a focus on how detailing makes people feel, rather than just on how it makes a car look - and so the idea of PowHer Mobile Detailing was born.

  • My philosophy

    I’m not a “car person”.

I’m someone who understands how stressful life can be and how powerful clean, organized spaces can be, even when you’re not naturally good at maintaining them.

I live with anxiety and understand how much environment impacts mental well-being. Clean, organized spaces bring me peace, and over time, I’ve learned how powerful it is to reduce chaos where you can.

That perspective allows me to understand clients who feel overwhelmed but crave calm.

Why PowHer exists

Many people accept that their car will always be messy and chaotic, especially if they have kids, pets, or busy lives. They don’t see detailing as valuable or accessible, and assume it’s only for luxury cars.

I want to show people that their car can be a calm, enjoyable, manageable space. And that this kind of support can make daily life feel lighter.

My goal is to turn your car into a space you can breathe in. A space that feels calm, comfortable, and manageable.

If opening your car door currently feels heavy instead of peaceful, you’re exactly who I built this for.
